About Me

My background

I started running in my mid 40's after years of very little exercise. My main aim was just to complete a 10k charity race.

However I found the challenge of getting fit for the race more enjoyable and rewarding than I anticipated.

This led me on a journey to become a fully qualified UK Athletics running coach.

Whilst coaching at various levels from beginners to athletes aiming for sub 3 hour marathons, I realised the importance of strength, conditioning and overall fitness - not just for those actively participating in sport, but for anyone who wanted to look after their health and well being.

So I expanded my coaching knowledge to become a fully qualified personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach.

I am now in my mid 50's and feel fitter and more healthy than I ever did in my 20's and 30's.

My passion is helping others to achieve their fitness goals, whatever their age or starting point.
